Outkast’s third studio album is still considered one of the best hip-hop albums of the 90s. Another Wu-Tang solo album – another milestone in the 1990s. Many fans would call “Liquid Swords” the best solo album by an artist of the Clan. Without any doubt, this album underpins GZA’s status as the group’s best lyricist – rarely have his lyrics come across as thoughtfully as on “Liquid Swords”. Only the high number of intros and skits will piss off many listeners. Nevertheless, Liquid Swords is one of the best rap albums of the 90s.
